KEMMA provides educational support to hardworking and deserving learners who demonstrate potential but face financial barriers to continuing their education.
Who Can Apply?
- Students or learners from financially vulnerable backgrounds
- Applicants enrolled in or admitted to a recognised educational institution
- Applicants who demonstrate commitment to their education
- Applicants who meet the specific requirements of the available scholarship or grant
Support May Include
- Tuition or school fees
- Books and learning materials
- School supplies
- Other approved education-related expenses
What You Will Need
- Proof of identity or birth certificate
- Recent academic results/report card
- Admission or enrolment evidence
- Brief statement explaining your financial circumstances
- Motivation statement
- Recommendation, where required
- Any additional documents specified under the particular grant

KEMMA supports vulnerable youth and adults to acquire practical, market-relevant skills that can improve employability, encourage entrepreneurship and promote self-reliance.

- Unemployed or underemployed applicants
- Vulnerable persons with limited access to vocational training
- Applicants committed to completing the selected training programme
Training Opportunities May Include
- Tailoring, fashion and clothes designing
- Hairdressing and beauty services
- Electrical and electronics skills

- Other market-relevant vocational skills

KEMMA supports aspiring and existing micro-entrepreneurs with opportunities to start, strengthen or grow viable small businesses and improve their livelihoods.
Who Can Apply?
- Aspiring entrepreneurs with a realistic business idea
- Existing micro-business owners requiring support to grow
- Youth and women entrepreneurs
- Individuals from vulnerable or low-income households
- Applicants committed to actively managing their businesses
Support May Include
- Basic business and financial management training
- Business planning
- Mentorship and coaching
- Starter tools or equipment
- Market linkage opportunities
- Small grants or other approved business support, subject to the particular programme
What You Will Need
- Proof of identity
- Brief description of your business or business idea
- Location of the proposed/existing business
- Simple explanation of the problem your business solves
- Estimated amount or type of support required
- Simple budget showing how the support will be used
- Photos/evidence of an existing business, where applicable
